Our Approach
After – School Programs: Provide neighborhood children with help in studies with their daily homework assignment, provide focused coaching in Math, science and Reading. Teach character development lessons through Biblical Teaching by means of crafts, Arts, Music, Dance, Games, and community Building. Also Train older children to be mentors to younger kids in teaching and training them. We will also provide free healthy snacks to the children.
Computer- Training: We will provide computer training for children attending after-school programs. We will also provide computer and internet facilities for children wanting to do research for their class homework and printing facilities.
Summer Camps: Provide neighborhood summer program in Staten Island. This camp will reach approximately 100 children on a daily basis between June, and August of the year. Camps will include recreation, art, music, Bible, community awareness and educational field trips.
Street Leader Program: Hire 15 Staten Island teens to work in the summer camp programs as counselors, teachers and athletic assistants. Street Leaders will also receive tutorial help, job development skills, SAT Prep., College Prep., musical opportunities and a chance to engage in meaningful work.
